This application was
developed for the Virtual Placement Agency and run on a
client/server network. ActiveX components for this
application were developed using Visual Basic 6 and
deployed using MTS. |

ActiveX Data Objects (ADO)'s
records sets were used to connect the application to the
database. MDI form with menu bar, coolbar and status bar
was used for navigation between forms and for displaying
info about application. Companies agents could add or
edit business clients. |

Positions
form allowed user to view list of positions, to open a
new position, to cancel a position and to archive closed
positions. |

The
applicants form allowed the user to view a list of
applicants, to add a new applicant, to modify an
existing applicant profile and to keep track of whether
they are currently available for placement or not. Also,
using the applicants form, a recruiter were able to view
skills available for an industry and to add new skills
to the skills list |

JThe
search form allowed users to find the best suited
candidates for a position and to place an applicant to
the position. |

The about
company form showed copyright information, information
about the application, such as current version and our
team logo. There were some other small forms used
throughout application. |
